To Cupcake or to not Cupcake...that is the question
I discovered Cupcake Chardonnay in probably 2010. It was in the price range I was looking for ($6.99 or so) and who doesn’t love cupcakes. That, my friends, is all it took. Well, to my surprise it was actually pretty good! I brought it to a party and everyone from my aunt, to sister-in-law liked it.

Here’s the thing. This wine is a crowd pleaser because it’s got it all, but nothing over the top. You can get the creaminess of a buttery chard, without the richness of buttered popcorn. You can get the crisp finish, without it being acidic like a Sauvignon Blanc. It’s just a nice, middle of the road, every day drinker.
Here’s a video from Labor Day, where my sister in law brought the wine…10 years later, she’s still bringing it and the whole family is still enjoying it!
