Shasta Lake Beverage Review
My family goes on 2 vacations a year: Lake Shasta and Downieville. This year, I wasn’t holding my breath, due to all the COVID stuff going on. Fortunately for us, we got to go! The two weeks are back to back and with small children, it’s tiring, but when on the lake, we still manage to have a few adult beverages. This year, the seltzers are all the rage, so we had to give them a try.
We tried the following (in no particular order) and not all on the same day…promise.
Here’s a fun video with most of them.
The crowd favorite…by a mile…was High Noon. This is actually not seen in the video because everyone in the group drank them all before I brought the GoPro out. It’s actually vodka, soda and a splash of fruit juice. The second favorite surprised everyone…Corona Hard Seltzer. There is a little bit less alcohol in it than the Truly and White Claw, which may be why we didn’t taste the malt liquor as much, but it was more refreshing than the others. Even after trying all these new drinks, there was still a trusty option that all enjoyed and that is Coors Light. You just can’t go wrong with a “silver bullet” on a hot day.
There was only one we wouldn’t buy again and that is the Vizzy. They added antioxidant Vitamin C and listen, if you’re drinking, I think we can all agree that you don’t need to attempt to make it healthy.
I hope you enjoyed the post!
